Our take on the new season trends
Let's set the record striaght, we don’t believe you should be a slave to the trends. They are there to help us look forward to the new season ahead and also inspire our wardrobes. If a partcular trend doesn’t fit into your own personal style it’s not worth buying into!
For Spring/Summer 2023 we've taken inspiration from the designers and picked out 5 key trends that feel wearable and will easily fit into your wardrobe this season. These pieces may be trend led but that doesn’t mean that you wear it only once!
Denim
Now you can do this look head to toe like the designers have in their catwalk shows with the Shea chambray co-ord from Saint Tropez. But if that is out of your comfort zone just make it work for you, denim is a core staple for everyone’s wardrobe so this is a trend you won’t have to skip. For a fresh take try opting for wide fitting jeans (sorry skinny) and play around with the different shades, a light wash is cool for summer but we can see indigo being popular too.

Key Lime Pie
One of the colours for the season is lime green, this bright pop of colour is great for going into the brighter months. You can get started on this trend with green knitwear, that you can layer now and will work going into Spring. If this colour isn’t for you try different variations of green or maybe just keep it to the accessories with a lime green handbag.

Basics
Now this is a trend everyone can do!Minimal, clean and chic, this trend is all about your core wardrobe staples. Investing in high quality basics that you can wear again and again and will never date. Inspired by the 90’s and scandi styling it’s time to stock up on your elevated essentials this season.

Leather
Now it may seem strange to have a heavier fabric like leather trending for spring and summer but when you play around with the colours and styles you can make it work for that time of the year – plus living in the UK means we have more rain than sunshine. Style this trend by going fora cool biker look or create a more sophisticated tailored look with a leather blazer.

Texture
Fringing, feathers, ruffles... anything goes with this trend but adding some texture to your look is going to update your look. If your style is more boho fringing is what you’re after and for those with a more classic style some elegant ruffles on a blouse are a great nod to the trend.
